Fyreratheb's Lair!!
Soon after hatching, Fyreratheb did little but eat and sleep. He uttered a few words - "Mummy," "Feed me" and "ooooh, Fire...", and singed two teddybears that Dragonmaid gave him upon 'birth'. Now a some what larger child, Fyreratheb has taken to playing with his little ball that Amberflame gave to him, and has gotten his singing under control. This hasn't weakend his affection for his two teddies, and though he doesn't mean it, he still sets them on fire in his sleep. He has become very eloquent in his words for a still-young-dragon and often comments upon things in such endearing manners as to make anyone agree to whatever he says.
Fyreratheb, as you can see, is maroon and teal. Everyone thought that he would grow tall and big and strong, on account of his eating and sleeping habits of a babe. This has proven true, as he has grown quite, quite large, and rather quickly too. He is a Firedragon, and he moved around a lot in within his egg before hatching, and - although he did go through a rather lethargic stage - he is now as playful and full of energy as his time in his egg promised. We did have many chairs and things ready to replace those that were feared to be ignited by Fyreratheb, but he is quite docile in that area, only setting things alight by accident in his sleep.
Fyreratheb's name is a jumbled play on words meaning firebreath. His teddys obviously have experienced this, and do so on quite a regular basis. If he keeps this up though, he will have no teddy left, and we are trying to think up ways to - if not prevent the fires - atleast preserve the bears. Fyreratheb seems to have no interest in gaining a horde at present - which seems odd to all. We only hope, that on a sudden impulse, he doesn't fly off to find his fortune without any warning whatsoever.
This is Gryphkin, a 'gift' to Dragonmaid, and now best-friend to Fyreratheb. Once Gryphkin got here, there was no stopping the friendship, and the two play together constantly.
Fyreratheb's full name is Fyreratheb SunStar FireClan. His mother's name is Tannath Sunstar Fireclan (where he gets his name from). She is a black dragon with aqua-green stripes, and she lives in her very own Weyr, which she recieved as a wedding gift when she married Kason, Fyratheb's Father. Tannath's Weyr is guarded by Kindra - a Watch Wher. She sort of adopted a Wyvern, Shandoth, who was particularly attatched to her, and she looks after Shandoth like a bossy big sister.
Kason Swiftwing is Fyreratheb's Father, and he is a very large purple Dragon. Still little is known about Kason, and he hasd managed to elude even Amberflame. This may be a reason why Fyreratheb was up for adoption, but know one really knows, so we really shouldn't make guesses like that.
Fyreratheb was adopted from the Save the Dragons Foundation, or more directly from Save the Dragons Foundation -- Adopt a Fire Dragon, both of which are owned by Amberflame.
